1. Breeding/Nurturing/Raising

Newly-born calves up to ablactation (age ~8 months)

 

2. (Re-)Breeding

Young cows and bulls (age 1-2 years) 

 

Breeding (and Re-Breeding) Cycle:

- Purchase of cows and bulls (1 month)
- Fecundation and birthing (11 months)
- Re-breeding of young cattle (24 months) 

 

 

3. Fattening

Young cows and bulls (age 2-3 years)
Cows and bulls (age 3+ years)

 

Fattening Cycle:

- Purchase of young bulls (1 month)
- Fattening of young bulls (12 months)
- Sale of fattened bulls (1 month)
